English Learners (EL)

Multilingual Learners (ML) at Cashman

Multilingual Learners (ML) are students who are developing proficiency in multiple languages, both the English language and their home language. Through strategically scaffolded curriculum and supports, ML students participate in reading, writing, speaking and listening activities daily to build this proficiency.  ML students participate in ACCESS testing each year that determines individual student's progress towards each of these proficiencies.
